@CheckMate657879 I don't know who said that Johnnie Guitar Watson didn't have skills but it sure as hell wasn't me I have been a loyal Johnnie Guitar Watson fan forever both my parents would be turning over in their graves at such a statement because I nearly drove the crazy playing Guitar's records in the 70s he was a musical genius indeed but in all fairness I don't think that too many people will put him in the same category as Stevie Wonder

@angelseye2000 That's what I'm trying to holla - angelseye2000 - no comparison whatsoever - unless it's that they're both musical geniuses in their own genre and own right.. But, thanks, Weluvmusick, for putting together a cool funk medley of Johnnie G. Johnnie G hasn't missed a decade since the 50's of recording and selling albums. That's not too shabby. And, he never really did stop performing. As I mentioned earlier, he died on stage, performing.

His music never dies ! Many thnx Johnny for these great great tunes...

The BADDEST MAN EVER!!!!! Rest in peace !!!

Weluvmusick - "He did have skills." Please! Who is that a revelation to - except you? Of course Johnnie G is not on the level of Stevie Wonder. Nor is Stevie Wonder on JGs level.
There is no comparison. Both are out-of-this-world musicians. Stevie Wonder does what he does and Johnnie G did what he does. Are you flipping serious?
More than that Johnnie Guitar Watson survived the 70s. Where did he die? On STAGE in Japan - performing before a SOLD-OUT audience.

the original pioneer of Blues-Funk fusion! RIP JOHNNY.
-
Take a look at him on Wikipedia and you'll see what an influence he has been in the music world!
-
Wonder also play drums. In "Living for the city", for example
-
Space Guitar is a masterpiece beyond limits.
Personally, as much as I like Stevie Wonder, it's beyond anything he's ever done.

The first song name is "Funk Beyond The Call Of Duty"
