  • I hope you come back with an updated video that includes some description of how you'll cope with FSS. FSS is the award-winning $1.5 billion Northrop Grumman initiative designed to shred and shuffle perfectly walk sequenced flats so that we will soon be able to re-re-sort them in the street at 8AM. Go Melvin! Great video!

  • busting up at you melvin, been carrying for 23 years and that shit is true !!!! love it though..

  • Hey Melvin, I heard that computers tell you how long it should take in the field and the post office has taken out the flat cases and has made the letter cases smaller. You keep coming back because you don't have a whole of lot of choices. My first day on my own, I could hardly walk into the house and I sat in the kitchen floor and sobbed for like 20 minutes, How, Why? But I kept going back too.

  • True True True. Don't even think about those 1 ten minute breaks and what half hour lunch. That is such a joke. You have to deal with people, traffic, and juggling DPS mail and ooh I have to stop I am getting really mad.

  • Melvin you said it all. That is how it is. And the part about not talking is true. But I was told, no laughing, no talking, and no smiling. That is the honest to God truth.

  • Just make your 90 day probationary period as a ptf and they almost can't fire your ass.

  • go for the ptf job. trust me. its not part time. 60 hours a week average

  • I personally only almost got to do a rural route. All I know about it is that I had to use my own car if I accepted the job.

  • what do you think about rural carrier associate jobs?

  • Power to the Mail Carrier! Keep Mail Carriers Alive!
