@norrad111 To be truly open minded one would be neither an atheist or a theist. This is where I am. I'd rather not be pigeonholed. I do stand by the logic of my comments though, I think it is watertight. Whether potential consciousness can be thought of as a God or not is anyone's decision, though I think it does show that there are some very special ingredients in existence, and that no one can deny :-)

Cont... Is reality flashing on and off, only too quickly to see? This thought has been boggling my mind for the past few days ha ha! Good video by the way, it's a relatively new subject to me and I'm finding it fascinating!

@norrad111 I think there is evidence that something that could be thought of as a God exists. The fact that consciousness exists. Awareness. Something every living thing has, to a certain degree. How did something that isn't aware give forth to something that is aware? It's not going to happen, unless there's some very special ingredients involved, ingredients that have always had the potential to possess awareness, or have always possessed awareness. It has to be one of the two.

@norrad111 Ok, I'll probably regret starting this, but here's what I have concluded from my experience. I'm not sure many atheists would instantly change their mind if evidence of some form of God came to light. The only evidence a lot of them would accept is perhaps a Polaroid of the bearded fellow in the sky, as many atheists so often refer to it. And they go on about providing evidence for the supernatural, when the supernatural can never exist. Continued...
