The ACTA pretty makes the assumption that everyone is guilty till proven innocent. As I said before, this goes beyond Intellcucal property. It could be simple as citing someone's work (using proper citation) or sharing a picture on a webpage, where you can be sued for damages or the site itself could be shut down. Moreover, what is the limit of this international law that could be used suppress people's freedom of speech or expression (since some countries don't have that right).

I completely agree with you Jedite.

I mean, this ACTA is destroying what most of the internet users know of. If they get this through youtube, facebook, etc. will be determinated. And if this so happens ACTA will be hated the most, and some might even hire people to sniff out these people, just to give them a major beating. And if we think about, even if this is to happen, ACTA will not be able to stop the theft on the internet, people will always find new ways, make new websites and so on.

This is madness though. Didn't the Chinese Government try to do the exact same thing a couple years ago and the SAME United States opposed them?
