Trying to reach 1 km FPV distance

I've lost RC control for a few times. Everything ended ok. I guess there was bad interference from high voltage power lines beneath that position.

ACtually I've tried extend antena and measure rssi level. I've found that peak rsssi was reached when anteanna lenght was 2 m. Not sure why, but it didn't affected the max range.

I usually run both vtx and rx from single 3S battery. Just some LC filtering.

@jacob3800 FPV is something you do, not something you buy. This actual rig is quite on low end, and it's possible to get it for 300-500$.

try extending the rx antenna to 2 or 4 meter, making it 1/4 or 1/2 wave. it will make a huge difference.

What battery do you use to run the video tx and do you use the voltage regulator?
