This video was taken last summer on the balblair black route. The idea of the video is more to give an idea of how cool the trail is rather than showing of my riding ability,lol...
This is only a few sections of an overall 6ish mile course, and there is a whole load of climbing involved too, but i diddnt think that would be too interesting so i just cut to the better bits. Enjoy..

  • i agree the black singletrack is awesome but there is a lot of uphill on wide tracks :( :)

  • nice vid and i went there today, great track but theres far too much uphill :P

although u did miss out the jumps that there are later on but apart from that, well done

  • Will do. I should have been video'ing last night. But only took 7 instead of 8 aa batteries for my power pack, d'oh! I also punctured twice and lost the cycle computer i bought that day. Still never took away from the brilliance of the trail and the enjoyment of ride though.

  • I know what you mean, we are certainly blessed up in the highlands eh!.

I've not been to golspie for a while, must get up there more this summer. Guess im lucky, Learnie is my local trail, only 6 or 7 miles up the road from me.

Glad you enjoyed yourself and thanks again for watching.

Watch this space over the summer, i will be adding vids for all the major trail centers in the coming months (probably, hehe)

  • Thanks very much. I had an awesome time. The trails were just amazing fun. I usually ride at Golspie which i'm sure you know is class as well. But this was a completely different experience again. With Learnie up here as well we're really blessed with sweet trail centres. Just a pity there at least an hours drive south for me. Never mind i'm off to Golspie again tonight!
