The vocals are sweet and original. The only reason people don't like them is because the radio pumps our auto tuned vocals 24/7. This is what singing sounds like live. You can't hit every note perfectly. For bad singing but good music come check out my channel or just search:

@ispepteid1 the point of the Cribs is that the shitty vocals don't matter. They are highly talented musicians and it's the lyrics that need to be put under the microscope, not the quality of the vocals. It's raw, lo-fi indie music so I guess it fits into the genre. They actually sometimes sound good.
That's how I look at it anyway...
