HI, this is my new Gibson 59 Reissue Les Paul. Its the Tom Murphy aged historic finish 2009 50th anniversary model with a Burnt Orange Tea Burst finish.I've noticed its hard to capture the true Burst of the finish with my camera but it's pretty close. I just wanted to post a quick demo demonstrating some tones I was getting from the guitar. Its a dream to play!, I liked it so much that I had to sacrifice some of my guitars to get it...but it was well worth it!
being away from the les paulfus fro a while as you can see i'm a bit confused by the whole volume knob issue...too funny....

  • Hallo Jason

Your are very very good guitar player.

    greetings from germany.

  • @888Georgios888 thanks a lot! I appreciate your comment. cheers!

  • Pardon the n00b question - I recently picked up a LP Standard (US) early 2000's. It has the binding 'nibs' instead of the fret wire hanging off the edge - does your guitar as well? If so (or anyone out there), do you find you pull the high E off edge of the fretboard when doing slides and vibrato? Drives me nuts - I get into a flow and "bzzrrtt" high E goes right off the nib. Especially around 7-12th fret. Thx - awesome sound/playing btw.

  • @intrsoul yeah, it has the binding nibs i guess...it has never happened to me...if i were to guess, it might be your nut needs to be re-slotted or a new nut...the notch in the saddle could be out of line with the nut? could be lateral string alignment.Part of the reason is that the frets are bound. If they extended to the edge of the board, unbound, this becomes less of a concern but I think most of the time it's where the saddle slots are cut. hope this helps! cheers

  • hey beaver!! you must know how too cook a good dinner. the wife let you buy two more guitars...lol..keep buyin them bud...i love to hear you play them
