Brings back happy memories when 2nd Paignton had a band and also memories of the Torbay & District Bugle Band display @ the Torquay Town Hall back in the Centenary Year.I am an ex-member of the 2nd Paignton,but wear my "Sure & Staedfast " buttonhole badge with pride.Still remeber the B.B Handshake

Superb! Brought back fond memories of the 2nd North Surrey band in the 1980's.
Newton Abbot could do with a BB company again. Far too many scouts about for my liking.

@cmcnaugh we lasted until 2001. I was running it with my mum who was captain (i'm lead drum on the left) gave the church a years notice that we'd had enough but little or no effort was put in to find replacements. A lot of the band playing were there until the end but aged 16-18 so it was never going to last much longer.
