While in Arizona, I found that one of the fellows is an astronomy buff. He brings his tripod and mirror telescope to look at a celestial event that happens 13 times a century. We see two black dots - the upper one is a huge sunspot, and the lower one is the planet mercury. My apologies for not having a higher-quality image, since this was done handheld without the proper camera fixtures. If you look carefully, you can see the black dots move. It's because all the planets are moving, including earth. I try this 4 times, and I still can't get it still & clear...
