you are incredibly strong! think you can do a "how to" for the forward roll?
-
love your strength man not to mention how ripped you are!
-
@FritsMB Depends on what you would count as the beginning.
I got the rings a year ago (primarily to do muscle ups at home), but started to incorporate more skill work 5-6 months ago.

Very nice and inspiring. Good form, especially for an ex(?)-boulderer (lol). How long did it take you to get this far?

Hey bro, what're you're rings hanging from on the ceiling? I'm thinking about buying the XRs from gymnastic bodies, but the only place i'd be able to hang them from is my door mounted pull-up bar, or maybe at a park (but probably wouldn't happen too often). The place I generally workout is my crowded room (a bit like you? haha :D!) and I would LOVE to be able to hang the rings from the ceiling like that... you probably didn't need all that info, but w/e. Thanks man, God bless :)

This is a 12mm diameter o-ring bolt.It reaches ~100mm into the concrete ceiling.
So you need to drill a 14mm hole and and put a 14mm dowel into it.

Hey, great strength, how can I determine my genetics in regards to bulk? I want to remain slim but yet strong, bit like you infact. But I see many people on youtube who do gymnastic type strength who are bulky. Is there a way round this in terms, of reps, sets, etc, or is it down to genetics? Best Regards

@mysticpiggyx The fear of bulking is overrated. You won't bulk like a bodybuilder unless you train like one. Bulking takes time and dedicated extra work. So I don't think that is something you have to worry about for the first couple of years training. Search Youtube for "Erin Anna Jameson Handbalancing" to see that years of training can make you freakishly strong but not bulk.

That is quick. Goes to show that bouldering does give a lot of core and pulling strength. It looks like you have a lot of power to spare doing these series. Do you do any hand balancing work?

@FritsMB
Bouldering and climbing in general give you less pulling and core power than you would think. It demands more static forearm / grip strength (it's all about the fingers).
Yes, it gave me some pulling and core strentgh to work with, but only to a certain deg,ree.
Pushing myself with hard ring training and crossfit was what really got me going.
