Since President Obama gave in to the demands of Republican hostage takers during the debt-limit debate - Republicans will use the same, "give us what we want or we'll pull the trigger" tactic over and over and over again.

  • Rich will continue to buy shit and the middle class and poor struggle to put food on the table!

  • Thom, you're dreaming if you think Obama will as much as squeak against the current Republican agenda. This Trojan horse of a president has betrayed his supporters from day one, and should be impeached & replaced by somebody with principles.

Asking Obummer to get tough is like asking Tiny Tim to sing a Paula Robeson song.

  • @Cabronosidad

You had me up until the point where you said "Obummer."

That destroyed any credibility you had.

  • @TheAngryAmericanwon Republicans only differ from Democrats in rhetoric. Look at the policies. They're the same. I agree that Ron Paul should run as an independent, although he gets more coverage as a Repub hence reaching out to more people. Yeah, the situation in the US is pretty sad but with crisis comes opportunity to educate people about economics and liberty, which is what Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Thomas Woods are doing.

  • @truevoice08 Hell I think Ron Paul would be a better Independent! Notice, main stream media wouldn't give a rats about him. This is sad, so sad.. I would be honored to take a SHIT and squat on the white house lawn! Our food is being taken away and re-modified to their likes, our freedom is gone.. only way we can make it all alive is to stay low and hope we can make it alive, we've some good presidents.. SSI is something good, to help people.. BUT republicans want it ALL! all or nothing.

  • @TheAngryAmericanwon You might be interested in the book 'Rollback' by Thomas Woods or 'End the Fed' by Ron Paul for diagnosis of the problem and possible solutions.

  • @Cabronosidad you cannot ask Tiny Tim to sing anything because he's dead.

  • The economy is in big trouble no matter what either party does.

  • @Homer177 Small government give plutocrats more power? Hardly. Why do you think corporate media smears and marginalizes small government types constantly? For the sake of the working class? Not. Multinationals and banksters need big government to steal big. It's much harder to steal from small government. If you're a big government liberal you have the support of the corporate media - doesn't that raise any red flags for you?

  • @megagagnon1 Okay then..who would you suggest? Ron Paul? Sorry, but he's another player in the game as well. His policies would simply give the plutocrats more power.
