It is a taboo and an end to your political career to ask for the Soviet Flag being propped up on your state's capital, so why shouldn't it be the same for the Confederate flag?
The Confederacy killed more Americans than the Soviet Union ever did and more Americans per cent of population than the Soviets, Nazis, and Al-Qaeda put together.
So why is a guy who wants that country's flag in his capital still in Congress? Symbols of the Confederacy should be banned like the Nazis are in Germany.

Illegal immigrants pay taxes, btw. They contribute to the federal budget, so I don't exactly see why they shouldn't have this service available to them as far as the "I don't want my taxes to go to *insert*" concept goes.
And the Democrats are masters of compromise at this point. The bill would not have covered illegal immigrants with taxpayer dollars (they'd have to pay for it), but now, to appease right-wingers, they're no longer even allowed to do THAT.

Why do democrats crumble? Cuz they're spineless. Is this really a surprise? Neo-cons have one thing the democrats don't have. The ability to rally their supporters around their stupid fucking ideas. Just look at the dichotomy. Dems protest bush and the GOP convention, and get thrown in cages ("Free speech zones") in New York. And nobody says anything. Neo-cons bring fucking GUNS to places where the president is speaking, and they convince people they are exercising their free speech. LOL.

What about green card holders? That's what this whole debate hasn't addressed. Not citizens, not illegal aliens. They should be covered if they're legal. Citizenship shouldn't be a requirement.
