  • No, I was about 40' away from a fully engulfed house, spraying water onto the house next door. The shingles of that house were smoking from radiant heat. The wind blew some of that heat on my shoulder, burning the outside shell. I wish it was fire proof, I know a fireman that would still be alive if it was.

  • i hope he notices the smoke due to the fire behind him >_>

  • I disagree more firefighters haves died from the two piece suit system due to heart attacks, heat exhaustion. Also the Worcester 6 mass firefighters that died could not feel the heat went to far in ran out of air and died. I would feel safer wearing the old rubber coat and boot gear because you can move around in it better it's not as heavy and if you go to far in you know when it is time to get out

  • Lol. I just wasn't sure If that comes to mind when you are on fire.

  • HAHA I did...it took a flat out balls crazy run across the street before i thought and actually did stop drop and roll... we were playing with nondairy creamer and fire (it's an oxidizer)...oops I laugh at it now because i just finished training at a fire department around here and now i'm a lot more calm and collected in chaos... but yeah i definitely didn't so i tend to assume that other civilians might not

  • i'm in love

  • Like the video, but "comprise" is a synonym for "embrace". anytime you are unsure of whether to use "compose" or "comnprise", mentally substitute the word "embrace" and see if it still makes sense.
