@MatthewtheY I thought he was supposed to be a characture of Vincent Price?

chase scene music -- Dance of the Comedians by Smetana (Bartered Bride). Underrated adaptation of a classical piece for cartoons. Up there with What's Opera, Doc and Rabbit of Seville.
-
One of the few episodes where Buggs gets bested. I LIKE IT
-

Contrary to popular belief, these cartoons were not intended for kids of the day. They were drawn out for adults to get a good laugh. In the 60's and 70's they were shown on television for kids and the trend continued making cartoons solely for kids, so the original intention of cartoons transferred age groups as the decades passed. They're still classics and much better than the cheap garbage they call cartoons nowadays.

@shazie1436 He is sort of Nelson-like but he's actually meant to be a caricature of an actor named Harold Peary who played a character named Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve (or the Great Gildersleeve) on a popular radio program from this period.
I fell bad for kids these days , their cartoons sucks!

When Bugs and the store manager arrive at the 6th floor on the elevator, the items Bugs mentioned were all rationed during World War II.
