Our homemade slip and slide. 100 foot roll of black plastic = $25. 8 or 10 feet wide. Used very little water here, but more water would probably have been much better. You can see 2 commercial slip-n-slides in the frame for about the same price - which would you rather have? Obviously a hit with the kids!

  • just the local hardware store. Get some with a decent thickness.

  • where did you get the tarp? and is it good quality?

  • @victorialicious7 It is not a tarp. We bought it at a local hardware store. It is just 100 foot roll of black plastic - the kind you put down for landscaping. Quality was good enough - they sell it in different thicknesses and you will want one that is thick enough not to tear under moderate pressure. But all of them will probably work. Keep plenty of water on it for slipperiness. Add some soap if you dare!
