What Prince want or not want has nothing to with this. He is not allowed to abuse the law for his own gain. Stephanie Lenz has every right to upload this video. Prince have every right to not like it, but he has no right to remove this video.

Prince does not want to let YouTube earn money with his work. He does not want to be a part or even a SLAVE! of this kind of industry. Nobody has any right to attack for him for this decision.

You can find a lot of Prince stuff (music, videos, DVDs) free via the internet. You only have to search for the various Prince fan pages. There you find nearly everything. But at YouTube it is strictly forbidden to post music of Prince. We'd better accept it.

i understand where ur getting at,but look at how many of PRINCES songs are already here on youtube? Purple Rain,1999,When Doves Cry,Lets Go Crazy,Adore,Do me,Kiss,Raspberry Beret. btw why pay $259 when u could just find a cd of his music to listen to or go on here and find some of his songs. Youtube made stars out of PSY and many others because there videos got a sh**load of views. so whos to say PRINCE couldnt get that many views if he allowed all his songs on here??? :/

As a German: Don't you think it is ridiculous trying to force PRINCE to get connected with a company he decided to be connected NOT with? That is HIS decision! Accept it!

YouTube are internet pirates, Prince decided to not support their kind of piracy. And he does not have to. Everybody shall ask him before posting any Prince stuff, and if he says NO, it means NO. So easy. Accept it! You have to!

In the moment he is on tour in the US, you can get tickets for 259 $. He does not need YouTube.
