This song is based on a real life experience I had, with a great aunt who had Alzheimer's. A frame pops up near the start of the song and gives the quick story.

"Sip our coffee...Wear your puzzled gaze", reminds me of my Grandfather about a week before he died when he would stare at his tea and ask me what to do with it. Wow, that was exactly 18 years ago, he died Feb 2 1992.

Wonderful, wrenching memories that I keep alive by writing about them too; just not setting them to melody.
