Even without the on board preamp basically gone Id say its an amazing bass and I'm proud to own it. It has an excellent tone and nice fretboard. Its well put together and can take a decent beating. I haven't really used the grab bar, but it looks pretty cool where it is. The only criticism I have is the output and output plate had to be replaced on mine because of the nuts on it coming loose and becoming lost. Overall its a solid bass and looks great a recommended bass. Now thats a review!
