I think that the internet has made newspaper sells go down. Why give them money, since you are paying for your internet connection.

You think the UK is bad!? In the US Rupert Murdock owns Fox News, which isn't just biased, it flat out lies over and over again, and has more viewers than any other news channel in the country. The only people who keep them in check are MSNBC (which has a liberal bias) and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (which not enough people watch). If you want to see a true manipulation of the masses, do some research on this fellow named Glen Beck. After watching his show you'll want to gouge your eyes out

Don't worry Robag, Irreverence is not dead. There's always going to be people in the World who live with their eyes open.

I love your appreciation of Stanley Kubrick, because he is considered the most over-rated director a lot of the time, but in reality is the most under-rated director of all time. I like that you try to analyze things, because the people I know prefer to only take a movie's word for it and never try to understand what the movie is really about. Keep in mind I live in Southern California, so you shouldn't expect much smarter.

I don't see how you are able to be so hard-working, and organize your thoughts so completely.

Yeah there's a lot to be explored. What amazes me is how many people think their door will be busted down in the middle of the night if they dare to voice peaceful dissent. It's like a self-imposed silence.
