Demo used during Jen-Hsun Huang's Keynote on the first day of GTC. The goal was to try and construct a wall similar to how it may be constructed on a movie set and break it apart in a realistic manor in real-time. In this scenario we chose to throw ragdolls at it to fracture and splinter bits and pieces off.

The demo uses PhysX 2.8.3 and a beta release of APEX Destruction.

Lighting is done using a forward renderer with 3 spotlights with everything (even the little bits that break off) casting and receiving shadows.

  • BF3 needs this

  • DMM is better

  • THIS IS WHY IAM THINKING OF BUYING A NEW AND AWESOME PC

  • @YearZer02022 yeah, thats why Ill always stick to pc gaming.even when a game is completely optimized like Oblivion for example its always going to look better on a pc. I have a 360 and a ps3 but I dont actually use them for gaming its just for media stuff, lol as a matter of fact I dont even own any games for either :)

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX

It is the consoles to blame. Companies don't want to spend massive amounts of money on engines to gain extreme realism when they can do trash to OK looking on consoles for half the price.

BF3 is an example of when a company focuses on PC.

  • Can you throw my boss like that?

  • can i download this demo??????????????

  • 0:32 THE MATRIX STYLE!

  • @XcrazyX10 the only reason games are downgraded for the ps3 and xbox360 when pc games are ported to console is cause they dont have near the gaming power of a gaming pc. you kinda had that backwards. pretty much 100% of the games that are on the ps3 xbox and pc all originated on the pc first then ported to console
