  • yes always slight bend in the knees... but don't bend your knees AS you do the exercise, if that makes sense... your knees should be slightly bent throughout the exercise but the bend angle should not change as you do the movement

  • yea you can use 2 dumbbells... but not if you can't do it right with one dumbbell... and you shouldn't use one dumbbell if you can't do it with your hands behind your head...

    that and my fingers hurt from typing!

  • i have hypolordosis so my bend is not very much of a bend what would you recomend for that?

  • i definitely would not recommend doing any sort of "bending" (you will probably get movement from your spine rather than from your hips)

  • i read the flatback section and saw where you say to use a foam roll or ball in between the thighs im assuming your speaking of during the different squats? my hips are very tilted back for the most part is this one choice of excercise i can do that over time will help give me more of a curve in my lumbar area and maybe correct my hips? also does sleeping with anything under my lumbar area help? towel or triangle foam pad? thanks again for your info
