  • Love it!!

  • @CeltPerson actually it was not writen by Rachmaninoff. It is an old Russian znamennij chant, which is originally unison . Rachmaninoff did a perfect job by arranging it. :)

  • @CeltPerson thank you very much :) btw. nice nick! :)

  • @queenofargyle

This was written by Rachmaninoff from his Great Vespers and Vigil, and is Blagosloven Jesi Gospodi, or Blessed art Thou O Lord. It is a traditional Orthodox hymn.

  • does anyone know the music theory behind the harmonies? From what I can tell they're using stacked octaves and 5ths and use melodic and harmonic minor

  • could anyone help with finding the lyric?

  • I'd love to see this choir live. Their harmonic voices makes me dream.

  • Bravo. Superb!

  • Wish the world didn't globalize to where everyone wears the same clothes. It would be nice to go to another place to see different customs and costumes when you got bored of the sameness of your own world.
