Just demo-ing a few sounds out of the Egnater Rebel 20 head.

I'm using a Gibson Goth Explorer into an Ibanez TS-808 Tubescreamer, and a Randall 2x12 cab with Celestion 80s.

  • hey listened to both your ht5 and this review, which would you say suits thrash/tech/death metal best? i'll be running a maxon od 808 into it first too. cheers.

  • Neither, but if you had to choose, I' say the Blackstar. But then the Egnater is louder...

  • @balalayker. Or LePou, another free one. Whatever suits your needs.

  • @balalayker. I figure since you want a low power you'll be using it only for recording or bedroom playing, so get Axe-FX. If you can't afford that, get LECTO which is a free amp sim.

  • @FionnMcc i use the egnater mainly for (trash)metal and it works perfectly especially with an overdrive pedal in front of it

  • @Milo9 If neither which low-power amp would you suggest for that?

  • Rush+megadeth+opeth... my 3 favorite bands.

  • @FionnMcc misha mansoor of periphery said boosted with a maxon od808 the egnater EXCELS at metal and djenty meshuggah type tones only thing that sucks is it's single channel BUT for the price you can't complain

  • megadeth..

one of the best demo and set in YT

  • yeah opeth!

  • Nice! Your reivews are always great, Milo.

  • thnks mate,
