I'm a technical instructor at our facility in Houston, Texas. Prior to this role, I worked in the field as a measurement-while-drilling engineer in Algeria. I became interested in training when I came to Houston to attend a class at one of the Company's training centers. When an opportunity became available for a trainer, I applied and was offered the job. I'm enjoying it a lot.

In my role, I train new hires and experienced engineers to run the tools and use the software that I used when I was working out in the field. One of the things that I most enjoy about this job is that I get to meet people from all over the world. We all exchange ideas about how to use the tools and software to run jobs and satisfy our customers.

One of the things that makes Halliburton an attractive employer is its diversity. It is truly an international company. Also, the level of intelligence among our employees is outstanding. There are a number of really smart people working here.

The kind of person who is most likely to succeed is someone who is motivated, eager to learn and not afraid of challenges. It's also a person who wants to put their all into learning and acquiring the skills necessary to satisfy our customers.

If you are looking for a job that's going to be interesting for a long time and that allows you to work with smart, talented people, and that offers you a chance to constantly learn more, Halliburton is the right choice.
