I disagree with that logic. The MVP should win the award every year. If it happens to be the same person 10 years in a row, he should win 10 years in a row. They don't give another team the championship just because one team already won it the last two years.

I still dont know why mj didnt get season mvp in 1997. This is some kind of joke. The Bulls were the best team in the league with the best record, mj got his scoring tittle and other awards, accolades.
