  • Great post Trekkertos!... I'd a found it sooner if you would of tagged it as an Early Live... This is def the BEST Ever early live clip... so much energy, I have converted two roxy skeptics with this clip were other clips have failed to hit home...

@ tbzeee Yes! Manzee's guitar work is off the hook!!!

@trekkertos: PLEASE, more of this concert Pretty Please!!! ps : isnt the show more like 72? ..thought Eno was splitsville by 73

    Love it Love it!

  • manzanera's solo is off the hook! great footage. i believe that's sal maida on bass; he played with them live but not on the LPs. love eno's outfit.

  • My all time favourite great stuff

  • The Manzanera/MacKay interplay is fascinating, isn't it? It's almost like a mini battle. Andy steps forward blowing his sax in challenge. Phil accepts the challenge & moves in close. There's some eyeballing & duelling sax/guitar before Andy moves forward again, forcing Phil to step back. Then Phil comes back at him - more eyeballing until Andy retreats, his sax bellowing like a wounded beast & Andy continues to eye Phil before he finally 'retires' leaving Phil to hold centre stage. I love it!

  • Merci pour cette super exclusivité ! Je n'avais jamais vu ces images.

  • Magnifique!

  • Fantastic. Each band member gets a good amount of camera time, the interplay between Mackay and Manzanera is unlike I've ever seen, and how Ferry and Mackay step off to watch Manzanera and Eno wind things up is just great.

I should know this, but who's on bass -- John Gustafson? John Porter? I know who it isn't.

Thanks for sharing a new box of treasures, Trekkertos.

  • you said...STILL AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
