@L0stH1ker Not with choking. You attempt to clear the obstruction first. If the baby goes completely limp with no breathing while you are trying to clear the airway, then you call 911 and begin full CPR.

@chabby316 The baby is being held exactly correctly, with support under the head and neck and control when turning the infant. It doesn't matter which fingers you use as long as you compress the sternum in the correct place and depth–all are techniques learned from 40 years doing CPR in hospitals and Pedi and Neonatal ICUs at Stanford University Hospital and University of Tx Med Branch and AHA CPR Instructor certification. What kind of training do you have?

@sweetwilly232323 she is not being careful... first she holds the baby in a wrong way... second, u should compress the chest of the infant using the ring and index finger with some support from the thumb...

shouldn't u call 911 immediately when you realized that the baby is choking? sure u might be able to save them w/o help but better safe than sorry
