I LOVE this song!

@labelashavoc I still don't see it. The big hair especially reminds me of Priss from Blade Runner. She looks nothing like Ellen aside from the long gloves and 'old' style microphone. Given Streets was a huge failure i have no clue how the link between it and BGC happened.

Who's the blonde girl at the beginning , she has a rockin...outfit.
Which bubblegum crisis does this song appear on? There are literatly like a trillion diferent Bubblegum crisis.

The blonde girl at the beginning is Priscilla - essentially the protagonist of the series.
She is normally a brunette, like when she's just being herself or fighting etc, but when she goes on stage as the vocalist for the Replicants, she puts on the blonde wig and rocking outfit.
The song is the end ingtheme of the first episode of the original OVA. Bubble Gum Crisis.
There are many, as you say, but to me the original is ultimately the best for many reasons.

@Karmoon7 Oh great , ugh cause she looks so... nice here haha , yea i was kinda looking for her when I started watching the " crash" version of the ova.
Whats the original ova subtitled as? Cause from what I read Crash is a sequel to something :( and i'd love to check out this specific bgc you're talkin about.

@zealotscout
That's right. Crash is the sequal/reboot/milking of "Bubblegum Crisis".
It aired originally in 1987 (in Japan). The actual episode this song is from is called "Tinsel City Rhapsody". That should help you narrow it down :)
Some of the best artwork, animation and cyberpunk action I have ever seen.
It's one of the last Japanese economic bubble anime, so the production value is gorgeous, but not as high as the original Macross movie or Akira :)

It's stuff like this which makes me wonder what kind of world we live in...where Don Cornelius has SOUL TRAIN to his credit, while Apollo Smile never got a show like that! I can see it now: "SMILE TRAIN, the hippest trip in Japan!!" She's really been gypped.

@KhaosJr
Not sure I follow your point exactly. Care to elaborate?
I wasn't familiar with either of those people. Superficially it seems like Don Cornelius is a comedian and Apollo Smile is just a bit of totty for otaku. Are you suggesting she could have had a career in Japan?
