i would advise not to use pollyurethane for rigidity, the bad really dose outway the good, the car will rust and make it useless, think about it ,if it was so great why wouldnt they use it insead of a roll cage in d1 cars and any super car roll cages weigh heaps ,if this shit worked they would use it to keep the weight down, but they dont. dont be cheap buy a roll cage.

It's not meant to be used by itself. It's just for extra support and only in places they would consider 'weak points' where the roll cage isn't supported.

Using foam to stiffen the chassis has been around for years. ford released some findings/reports on how they used foam to stiffen chassis on their suv's throughout the years (mainly the a, b, and c pillars). ford found that it was 20-30% more rigid by using foam alone. which is a very big improvement, without sacrificing so much weight in bracing to get the same results.

People who makes high hp and wants a full interior foaming is a good option for a rigid chassis, but falls short on safety

if your planning to do the foam make sure you get a marine grade urethane or something that does not trap in moisture which will lead to rust in the long run. personally i would use handi-foam II-22 kit which has a nozzle for easier application, and for beginners like me. there are some urethane foam which far superior, but has a very short pot life (2 mins) which the pros use, but very hard to apply.

I hate to call someone out but, you can turn 10,000 rpm on a stock crank so long as it is balanced properly, but he didn't mention the valve springs or the hydraulic lifters which are the limiting factors on rb engines as well as sr engines.

That foam stuff is not the greatest thing of all. It traps moisture and causes rust. If its a track car than why not, but you drive in the rain i dont think its a good idea.
