Getting Started With Posca Paint Pens - Part 4 - Digitizing the Art with Photoshop CS5

Its finally here! Part 4!
In this video I will show you how to take a photograph of your art and create a cool wallpaper using Adobe Photoshop CS5. Stay Tuned for Part 5 where I will show you have to finish the painted and properly seal the art.

"Side Notes"
I captured the art using my Cannon Powershot SX30. Try to photograph your work from either a straight on view or a over head view. I have even used my iPhone to capture my work so any camera will do. The one thing that is key is the lighting. I like to capture the art outside on a clear day. I don't have professional equipment for lighting so I have found that the lighting from the sun is the best. =D

ok, but what hardware have you used to capture the image and transfer it to the pc ?? camera? scanner? any hints on getting it with high quality ?

Thank you for asking this. Yes I capture the art with a Cannon Powershot SX30. I sometimes will even use my iPhone to take the picture. So it doesn't have to be a real expensive camera. The best way I have found to get a high quality image is taking the picture with good lighting. Lighting is key. I don't have anything fancy to do the light so I will typically go outside on a nice day to take the picture.
