Can I ask if you have any evidence of that? It's just, I've spoken to a lot of Syrians regarding the protestors and I haven't heard a single report of Hizbollah assisting with the brutal crackdown.

The last thing I read regarding Syria was in today's Independant and it was about how the Syrian authorities are planting mines on the border to stop people fleeing to Lebanon - surely the Hizbollah would have played some role in that if they were assisting Bashar Al-assad?

This is nonsense. In 1565, one year after the birth of Shakespeare (1564), the Turkish Ottomans besieged Malta and were defeated by the Knights Hospitallers of St John.

@mtldrmr If you play down the causalities, yes. Though, last I checked, from the 1982-2000 invasion of Lebanon Israel killed up to 20,000+. That figure has not been reached with demonstrators killed, and that's just 1 Israeli war.

Dude there have been more people killed this past year in the arab world revoultutions, than israel killed in its entire existance, 1100 in Syria and its still going on, Libya in a civil war and noone knows how many dead protestors, Iran a couple years before, bahrain,tunisia,yemen, Egypt, over 900 killed in egypts revoulution, and these civillians are killed by their own countrymen, and you wana talk about israeli human rights? Fix your country before you mess about in others.
