Yes, I replaced the two Dynamixel AX12 servos in each elbow with a single Dynamixel RX64. More reliable, stronger, and less bulky (the elbows made it hard to fit through doorways. :-) But, unfortunately, the RX64 are pretty expensive.
Very impressive Dave, im looking foreward to your update on your site. Did you modify the arms too ? I remember there where 2 servoes.

Yes, I added an XBox360 sensor to augment the OpenCV Vision system. It helps a lot, by providing 3D depth info!
