This is a region that was always part of Georgia until 1920 when Bolshevik comunist Russia concured it and deportated georgians and circassians from the region , Georgia lost in the years 1920-1921 half of its teritories thanks to Russia, and today Russia wants more she wants Abkhazia and Samachablo (South Ossetia)

Do you know what Jiqeti mean? it means the land of the Jiq (Zikh\Zig) which are part of the ancestors of the Circassians, Sochi in Circassian is Shache, it was the land of the Ubykh tribe. it was never a Georgian land, maybe once was in the Georgian kingdom, but also Ireland was in English kingdom once but it doesn't mean the Irish were English...

@AndyNapso dont you want to be part of Georgia ? it is better with Russia ? why dont you and Georgia make a federation, russians arent caucasian, so why not make a confederation of all caucasian states ... Circassia will disapare in todays Russian federation

@AndyNapso my point is that we cannot say that this land wasnt a historical land of Georgia, because it has georgian history as well, as well as circassian history, but in todays ecuation in the Russian federation many states will dissapare, starting with the language

@AndyNapso georgians and circassians should know more one of ather. Boath cultures are beautiful, i love some circassian dances and mucis, but to be honest, i dont see that region in Russian federation, i wish you where independent, but that cant happen, Russia will not permit, you shall survive only if you join a small state such as Georgia and form a federation, with specific laws, equal for boath sides

@AndyNapso unfortunatly Abkhazia has become a russian colonial area ... apsuas will disapareand it already happens, because of poverty, and because russians afore the best jobs in Abkhazia, it is the exact problem as in Repubilc of Moldova, where russians controle the big industry and get a lot of money, while the majority of romanians there are poor , and controled by a russian minority ! try to learn from others mistakes

And I saw on a map that this video uploader sent me that was written in sochi area Sanichi, which he said they are Svans, but when I looked at the map again and a little more east, above Colchis were written "Soanes" and beneath it "Soani" which is now Svaneti located, so how come that the Sanichi were Svans too??? and they sit near the Achaens... there canot be two Svans and between the Colchis...
