Cocaine isn't even Clapton's song but he MADE it his. Just like the blues players made a lot of their songs their own. I am not sure if many people relieze this but blues is just a big collaboration! everyone takes and gives to each other musically. There is no REAL blues. Its all a figment of the stupid fucking white mans imagination. Read a book called "The Road to the Delta".

I think Jack White has alot to do with blues starting to get popular with younger adults and kids.....He took alot of old blues songs and covered them and made them rock, he has turned me onto atleast 10 old blues artists that I would have never know without him either covering or talking about the musician. Jack White Is God!

You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Well some people do I guess. I know a lot of these white guys enjoy the old blues music. I don't really know what intentions they have with covering the songs and I dont really care. I enjoy the stuff and research led me to Bukka White, John Estes, Barb. Bob and such. Spend some time looking around the internet and you don't need Jack white to record a song from an artist for you to discover him. Its easy.

Thats the point idiot, you find something you like and then it brings you to other musicians that are good. But you first have to hear the song's to get into similar style music. And Jack has done that with so many people which is a good thing, so shut up!
