Durham City Council Approves Resolution in Support of Same-Sex Civil Marriage

Durham City Council approved a resolution supporting same-sex civil marriages.

The Council moved to call to question early because they were nearly unanimous in their decision and had already decided. They had a very full docket already, so they decided to save time by checking with a show of hands who in the audience was opposed wished to speak.
