Discovering A Dream: Chapter 16 Part 2

Carson's POV

It's Saturday night, and I'm sitting in my room, in my comfy pj's, watching a movie. What happened to me? The last time Joe was here was really....awkward. He didn't seem to get along well with Austin, and when he left Blake gave me a private screening of their conversation. Needless to say, I didn't blame him for not visiting more often. So now, thanks to my new family and friends, I was spending saturday night....

"Knock knock." Blake grinned, strolling into my room.
"You're supposed to wait for an invite, ya know." I complained.
"Family doesn't require an invite." he grinned. "I wondered if you wanted to come hang with a few of my friends."
"I do have my own friends you know." I stated.
"Okay then, I'll see you later tonight." he said, leaving my room.
"Wait!" I called after him. "I'll come."
"I thought you had your own friends." he said, sarcasticly.
"I do, but some loser scared them away." I grinned, elbowing him in the ribs. "Gimmie 5 minutes." I said, pushing him out of my room.

I quickly searched through my closet - which was pretty tidy, seen as I'd only just moved in - and pulled out a black wifebeater, pink skinnies and my white converse. Perfect. I rushed downstairs and found Blake and Austin waiting in the kitchen for me.

"Davis." Austin cheered, offering me his fist to punch. I quickly slotted mine into place.
"Holmes." I replied, acknowledging him.
"Where's your little boyfriend?" he asked, mockingly.
"You guys pretty much scared him away." I answered. "And he's called Joe."
"Joe Schmoe. Tonight, your rolling with the big boys." he grinned.
"Think you can handle it?" Blake asked, mischeviously.
"Trust me, I've done alot worse than Bowling downtown." I giggled, walking outside.
"Hey! Don't mock the bowling!" Austin called after me.

We drove downtown to Bowl-O-Rama AN: Seriously, I lack imagination, haha. and met up with a few more friends. 2 older guys and 3 older girls. I looked like the odd one out. These girls were wearing paisley print dresses, or short shorts. I was wearing skinny jeans. Both guys were attractive, but nothing in comparison with Joey.

"Carson!" one of the guys greeted me, with a huge bear hug. I felt like part of the gang, and all my insecurities disappeared.
"Hey....you." I replied. He laughed.
"I'm Penn, Blake's friend." he explained. "Blake's been kinda excited about having a sister, you're all he's been talking about." he admitted. I smiled and glanced at Blake, who was busy messing around with his fringe. Sure, styling his hair.
"Nice to know I'm wanted." I grinned.
"I'm Tinsley." one of the dressy girls said, smiling. "This is my twin brother, Easy."

Wow, they did look a like. I never noticed they were identical before. Looking closely at Easy you could see his extended lashes, and his definded cheekbones. Luckily, his sister came without the jawbones, but she had very clear cheekbones, shaping her heart shaped face perfectly.

"Woah, it's like looking in a mirror." I chuckled.

Easy shuffled, uncomfortabley. Obviously he didn't like the comparison to his feminine sister. "Besides your manly hands." I said, gesturing towards Easy. His hands were rough, and had ink splodges and paint covering them. Safe to say, he was an Artist.

"Your a painter?" I asked.
"Yeah." he grinned, eagerly. He was so obviously the younger twin.

One of the other two girls whispered something into the ear of the other, and they burst out laughing. Suddenly, I felt insecure again, Blake stepped in at this moment to introduce us.

"Carson, this is Callie and Brett." he sighed, feeling awkward. Something must be going on.
"Let's head inside." Austin grinned, wrapping his arm around my waist and guiding me inside.

I was thankful for his gesture, and quickly leaned into him. I wouldn't let 2 strangers intimidate me, I was Carson Davis! I went and exchanged my shoes and joined the group at our designated alley.

"First up is......Mr.P." Austin cheered, in a mock announcer voice.

Soo, kinda just a filler, but this does get interesting!

I really like; Poison Ivy, Fly With Me and Much Better (even though it has Taylor hate) World War III is pretty good too.
