The dog is beautiful, but would be disqualified from an AKC or CRUFFS dog show because of the color.

@surrynet Yes,they are disqualified in the conformation ring but allowed every where else.discrimination against the color.very said.A Doberman is a Doberman no matter what color they may be.DNA TESTING proves they are pure Doberman

@gsdsteve The AKC tags these litters of "white" Dobies, and I believe that the DPCA has asked, at least informally, that these dogs not be bred. But, you cannot fault the dogs, only uninformed consumers.

Albinism in any species is a genetic defect- blindness being the largest issue. It is a shame that you capitalize on this disaster.

To breed white dobermans is a sick practice. They are called albino's and it is a genetic mutation that makes many problems for the life of the doberman. You are sick if you keep this genetic flaw alive. DO NOT purchase a doberman or support a business that breeds these genetically defective animals. It is a sick practice, inhumane to the breed overall. Sure give the living albino's a home and love because they are no different but DO NOT SUPPORT the animals breeding these animals.

Whites are marked with a Z factor in the pedigree, as are carriers of the gene. Most good breeders ovoid this gene due to eye problems and high rates of skin cancer. The white color is also recessive. This means breeding white Dobermans is very difficult because you have only a small populating in the world that will produce them. This also means when choosing breeding stock, color is the primary trait looked for and not health or temperament. you dont care about your dogs. only the color.
