God broke the mold when he created these two. There's no denying their songwriting and music stands the test of time. And the greatest thing about Bruce, besides his song writing, is his respect for his elders and all other musicians and his ability to subvert his ego and surround himself with the best musicians he can find oftentimes joyfulling playing second chair to a guy like John Fogerty. Bravo Bruce, that is part of your genius! :)

God, when I hear Bruce's voice come in for that second verse, it's like the roof is caving in from the thunder... so great.
This is proabably my favorite Creedence song. The vocal power, the lyrical content, the energy. And to have Springsteen play it with him? So rock n roll. Love it.

Great performance but why is Nils Lofgren one of today's finest and expressive rock guitarists playing an acoustic in this song?
-

Classic Rock at its best, unbeatable...talk about the dynamic duo......... Let's also bear in mind that these guys are 60 yrs old, they're leagues ahead of most 20 and 30 yr olds......
