i found one of these for 104 bucks, plus shipping and handling, without the barrel, it's really neato. Can't wait to build it, the reciever was pretty fun to bend, and i bought a yugoslavian barrel, i'm gonna need to make some adjustments to the barrel in order for it to fit in my Romy.

@agumon12 Make 100% sure your head spacing is on and then double/tripple check it again just to be safe. You dont want a grenade....

I might do that this weekend. When i go out and buy some ammunition. I found a few websites that shows a poor mans version of headspacing.

how much does a kit cost??

I picked mine up for about 160.00 with US compliant parts. Now your looking at 250-300 if your lucky to find one anymore. There is a ban on anything coming into the US via parts kit that contains a barrel so the only AK kits are the ones that are already in the US which last i checked those stocks have been all dried up for a while now. You can thank Obama and his team for that.

no idea we just picked up a no name brand flat in bulk at 15.00 a pop with rails and bent them. We picked up a bulk pack thinking we would go through about 3 receivers before getting the tolerances just the way we wanted but ended up getting them damn good enough in the first shot.
