Boris The Puffer Fish Puffs

This is my puffer fish. He's called Boris after the MP Boris Johnson. He occasionally puffs up much to our amusement altho we don't make him do it on purpose as it's stressful-

Ive kept puffers for years, especially a few porkies like this one. Although they puff up when stressed, they do sometimes do it for no apparent reason. Klaus Ebbert is an expert in Tetraodon and Arothron puffers and thinks they sometimes do it for practice. So as long as the inflation was not provoked dont get too worried

@laricalarica A lot of Puffers that are in captivity Puff up randomly for no reason. It's known as "practice puffing"
