XschindlerX- I believe it's just the time that you connected to God through worship. I personally connected to the passion albums.. When I listen to them, it brings me back to that time.

But music is always progressing. Gone are the days (for now) of the clap along "redeemer lives" songs.. It not just in Christian music, but in all forms of music.. Styles come and go. Keep progressing. It keeps music fresh.
