@PaulisWilliam Sure he sounded better when he was 25, but very little has been lost. For a guy who will be SEVENTY years old next year ( not to mention nearly 50 years in the limelight ) I'm flat out amazed that he's still coming out with new ideas......

A bunch of us in the 70's never accepted his pop shit (Wings etc...) after they broke up (Beatles).. it was so much like teeney-booper pop-crap...but man I like this song...

@PaulisWilliam Remember this was released as sung by "The Fireman", so Paul didn't need the pressure of the song released as a McCartney track; his voice is disguised. Listen to the live version on the "Good Evening New York City " Album! Fantastic!

@caulinrocker @caulinrocker yes Paul is "The Fireman" but @caulinrocker no, Paul's 1st solo album "McCartney" was 1970, then he worked with Linda McCartney to record the album "Ram" in 1971.(solo kinda') . During the 1990s, Paul collaborated with Youth of Killing Joke under the name the Fireman, \ for ambient electronic albums: Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest (1993) and Rushes (1998 ), and "Electric Arguments" (Nov. 25 2008. ). Martin Glover is Youth's real name, Paul=Fireman (Wikipedia)

every sentence in this song is amazing. Sir Paul McCartney sang this live at his show in Holland december 9th, and I was there^^ it's amazing how many petaphores and beautiful words 'sing the changes' contains.. I already have a peace-sign tattooed on my wrist, and i think I'll get 'sing the changes' or 'colored pencils draw the picture' tattooed below that^^
