To me, the "set them up" line was PERFECT for traps. The song opens with all of these remarks about how "hot" this "girl" is, etc, and then the "set them up" is the purposeful misleading in regards to the character's gender, and then "knock them down" is the shock the victim experiences when he finds out that "she" is a "he". ;D
