good god damn, the song is great, and the video while unusal as hell, is really really good. Way to work a budget guys, intense. The whole dog as the person running away (be it child or lover)
was an excellent idea, fits the song very well. I apparently still love atmosphere :)

The dog is a metaphor for kids who feel unappreciated, and run away for attention.. "don't know what you got till its gone"

@ParanoidThyroid Very true man, but still Slug decided to use a dog for the video. Could be that he really meant it for dogs, but at the same time it could be meant for anyone indeed. As for what you said about dogs, that's the damn truth man. That's why it's so beyond fucked up to see what some people do to their dogs, treating them like shit, abusing them, while the dog would go through fire to save their lousy owner's ass. Saddening really.
