Birth Control Warning: YAZ/Yasmin

I just wanted to share my experience with taking Yasmin and urge anyone who is taking it to seriously consider a different birth control. Ultimately it almost killed me and my daughter and can have very dangerous side effects.

Yaz gave me a stroke. I went to the emergency after having a head ache for 3 days and then all of a sudden not being able to read or think of the words I wanted to say. I had 3 blood clots in my brain and almost died.

i've been taking yaz since i was 16 (now almost 20) and i haven't had any issues. it really scares me though that news stories are still coming out about it though and the dangerous side effects.
