One of the coolest looking hulls ever. Too bad Venom's customer service is such a joke. That is why people should buy the hull only and drop in their own motor/esc. If you try dealing with an electrical problem through venom you will have no hair left by the end of the ordeal. Trust me!

I was going to buy one of these, but I read that alot of people are having massive heat issues. Is there plans or has anything been done to minimise this issue? Perhaps additional temperature monitoring?

just bought one. had it in the water 3 times. running 3s 5000 lipo's and it BURNT UP!

I hate how I can't fnd anything about the P1 or the C1 electrics.
I guess I'll just have to go with the Traxxas Titan

merda

how fast would it go with that 2 3s 5400 lipo set up ?
-
very fast.................

How were the ESC/Motor temps after your runs with the 4S set-up? Can the 60A ESC's handle a 4s set-up on a regular basis?

Hello, I wonder if there was change in the boat or the original configuration and the boat (VEN-1840)?
What is the discharge (''c'') of the batteries used in the video?
Thank you.
Does it have LiPo cut-off of any sort?

Yes the ESCs have LiPO cut-offs set at 3v from the factory but it you can adjust the programming to suite your needs. Everything you need is included in the manual.

Follow up question: Does the cut-off reduce motor power by 100% straight away, or does it first reduce motor power to 50%, or somewhere around that area? The Velineon system has this, and is very practical. Even more so if installed in a boat, I reckon.

The ESC power output is cut by 50% if the low voltage threshold is reached for more than 2 seconds.

Yes. We had no heat issues on 4S. The boat is rock solid.
