  • DD does not distort at high volumes, they make some extremely loud woofers. As far as their ability to hit the low notes, it's all in how the box is tuned. Most DD subs are used for straight up SPL purposes and are tuned higher for higher dB's and don't sound good on music. However, if mounted in a properly sized and tuned box, they can play just fine on music and stuff.
