Using fusible interfacing allows you to have a finished edge with-out having to use a needle turn technique.

Trace your pattern on the flat side of the interfacing, sew it to the right side of the fabric, T cut in the center of the interfacing and turn it right side out. You are now ready to fuse it to your background. Choose your favorite machine stitch or hand stitch using a button hole stitch.
