Professors are part of a massive communist plot to turn people gay, and worse, MAKE THEM DO THEIR HOMEWORK!!!! My favorite professor can't convince me to do the reading assignment, and I know for a fact everyone else skips it, but you're saying he can radically shape my views?

(continued from previous post) On second thought I can see how Republicans, neoconservatives and other right wing nut jobs could find this type of speech so offensive. After all, the President was encouraging kids to cultivate their minds. A highly educated and, most importantly, thinking population, doesnt fall for the mendacity of Fox News, or the blatant lies of talk radio. Nothing could be more corrosive to right wing aims than a new generation that can see through their BS.

I challenge any Republican or conservative to tell me what was so wrong with that speech? From listening to all the rhetoric, they all feared that President Obama was trying to indoctrinate their kids towards a liberal agenda. So GOP worshippers, and Fox News watchers, tell me what was so inflammatory about the speech? Show me how he was preaching evil "socialism"? (continued)
